Emailing the Author

Please send any feedback (good or bad) about this project to lisa@www.watson.org . I've found that many of the same questions get asked over and over again, so I've written this "mini-FAQ" to answer some of the most common ones:

• "I'm doing a project on this topic. Can you provide me with more resources?" Sorry, I've put everything I know up on the Web. Take a look at the footnotes for the section of this project relevant to your topic or the bibliography for ideas for books that might help you in your research. I'm not hiding any other sources, so emailing me will not get you more sources. In fact, I probably won't even reply.

• "What is the name of the book by [author's last name]? I saw it in the footnotes, but it doesn't have all the information!" Please scroll up in the footnotes file. I've tried hard to make sure that there's a complete footnote entry for each source cited in a given footnote file. If there isn't a complete entry, please go to the bibliography. All the sources used anywhere in the project are in there. Also, drop me an email with the name of the incomplete footnote file so I can fix it!

• "Can I use this project as a reference in my paper?" Yes, by all means, but please make sure to cite my page properly. Check the Citation Guide if you need help with this.

• "Can I link to this site from my site?" Yes, please do! I'd appreciate it if you'd send me an email with the URL of your site.
